Description

A very early travel guide to Delhi distributed by Maiden's Metropolitan Hotel in Delhi for the 1909-10 season is in very good condition, light soiling to rear cover and very little wear. Handwritten notations on rear endpaper and rear cover. Photos and information on sites to see, several pages of local ads, and an 11 x16 inch folding map inside the front cover. The booklet has 49 pages and measures 6 x 4 3/4 inches.
This guide was published just 10 years after this luxury European-style hotel was built, and is still in operation.
