    Description

    The Angola 500,000 Kwanza banknote is part of the banknote series issued in 1995. This particular note is in uncirculated condition and is TAP authenticated. The obverse of the note is portraits of the first president Antonio Agostinho Neto and the former president Jose Eduardo dos Santos in profile. The reverse features the floodgates of the Matala Dam or the Barragem da Matala. The Coat of Arms of Angola as well as a tribal mask is also visible on the reverse of the note. This 162 x 70 mm paper banknote has a watermark showing an image of The Thinker.
