This listing is for a lovely antique Dominick & Haff Sterling Silver footed sugar basket with cobalt glass liner. Silver has a p
ierced decorated band around body alternating with four wreath banded medallions with fancy 2-letter engraved monogram "M P" on one side. Basket has lovely swing handle and sits on four flattened ball feet.
The silver is marked with trademark stamp of Dominick & Haff and "Sterling, 1534 40".
Measures 4 3/4" high (to top of handle), 2 1/4" high (at side of basket), 4 1/4" wide and 2 7/8" deep. Silver weighs 100 grams with combined weight of 12.9 ounces.
The silver is in excellent Estate condition with no noted flaws. Cobalt glass liner has small chip on outside of top edge which is almost totally covered by silver basket with only a very tiny nick seen on the top edge (see photos).
