    Description

    This is an antique Simplex No. 6 washing dolly or posser. It has many other names such as:  washing plunger, posher, poss-stick, agitator.   Used to plunge and agitate the water when hand-washing clothes, its a beautiful example of antique laundry tools.  It has a copper head and a slender wooden pole handle with rope hang.
