    Description

    Antique Brass-look Pendant in the size of 2 x 2 cm (0.875” x 0.875”)
A mystical cross which functions as a symbol of good fortune and prosperity. It is a very archaic and sacred symbol which can be found in the religious relics of all ancient nations.
A perfect example of the universal spread of a symbol through the collective unconscious used by American Indians, Hindus, Buddhists, Vikings, Greeks, Romans, Celts, Anglo-Saxons, Mayans, Aztecs, Persians, Christians, and neolithic tribes. There are even Jewish swastikas found in ancient synagogues side-by-side with the star of David!
It is redolent with meanings of being ‘auspicious,’ ‘blessed,’ ‘virtuous,’ ‘beautiful,’ and ‘rightly’; and ‘that which is blessed and excellent.’
On each arm of the symbol are the following inscriptions (starting from the top left arm 11 o'clock position in clockwise direction)
    1) 南無阿彌陀佛
Is the mantra Namo Amitabha, which means infinite light, infinite life, infinite wisdom _/\_
    2) 觀世音菩薩
Is the name of Guan Yin (Kuan Yin), The Goddess of Mercy. Devotees around the world call on the name of Guan Yin (Kuanyin) Goddess of Mercy, in times of need, fear, or despair. In this way, she is similar to Green Tara, another manifestation of Compassionate Action, in Vajrayana Buddhism.
    3) 地藏菩萨
Is  Kṣitigarbha, depicted as a monk with a halo around his shaved head, he carries a staff to force open the gates of hell and a wish-fulfilling jewel to light up the darkness.
    4) 唵嘛呢叭咪吽
Is the Buddhist mantra OM MANI PADME HUM— this six-syllable mantra that is the essence of all Dharma—that’s the purest Dharma. According to Buddhist traditions, reciting this phrase is one tool that can help aid you on the path to enlightenment, and the Dalai Lama consistently praises its power to purify the mind and help you cultivate inner wisdom.
Five small Swastika signs are inscribed on the reverse side of the pendant.
