    Description

    This beautiful set of 4 sterling tripod salts and salt spoons comes in its original box. The lion passant is followed by a shield with 3 tiny forms. Could not locate the corresponding date for the cursive "F". the L followed by a small "D" on its top right stands for Ltd.  Could not find the exact correspondence for the SL or SI. The written imprint on the cloth attached to the case says "Edward & Sons  Glasgow  The Jewelers & Silversmith  92 Beacham Street".  The slight wear to both the case and pieces of sterling show be evident in the above photos.
