Personally owned by Edison’s laboratory assistant containing his stamped ownership signatures on the front pastedown and free endpapers, “Herbert S. Read, 20 Chapel St., Orange, N.J.,” and a handwritten ownership signature on the front free endpaper: “Herbert S. Read, March 20, 1891, Edison Laboratory, Orange, N.J.”
CONTAINS THE OWNERSHIP SIGNATURES OF EDISON’S LABORATORY ASSISTANT: “HERBERT S. READ, MARCH 20, 1891, EDISON LABORATORY, ORANGE, N.J.”
The volume has illustrations and tables, 72 pages, measures 6 by 4 inches, and in very good condition with minor rubbing to the borders and the middle of the front and rear endpapers beginning to split exposing the mull.
