Vintage Kamome Home Washer from 1950s - Tabletop Ball Washer Style with Hand Crank and Lid. There is also a working lock/unlock mechanism.The crank, lid & locking mechanism are all in good working order.
Likely great with delicates!

There are Japanese & English Markings & Patent numbers and on the front & back of the center band, the word 'Hex' is written along with a bird with its wings outstretched and some other symbols (I don't think it is Japanese writing.)
The bottom reads:
KAMOME HOME WASHER
40 (degrees) C - 80 (degrees) C
HAYASICo. LTD
10"-20"
...along with some Japanese writing.
? Aluminum or Chrome...a magnet does NOT stick to it.
Fair to good Vintage condition. There are 4 dents in the bottom half of the ball: an approx 2 1/2" round, an approx 1" round, an approx 1/4" round and an approx 2" oval. There are 3 dents in the top half of the ball: an approx 3" round, an approx 1 1/2" round and an approx 3" oval. I don't think any of the dents will affect performance and they may possibly be hammered out. Also some rust. Please see photos. Sold as is.
Measures approx 14" H x 21"W x 13" D. The washing 'ball' is approx 13" D.
