M-1752 pre RETMA DOT version Bell Labs grown junction transistor -   physical  case size of cast case is smaller in the painted on  M-1752 designation unit than the version with the RETMA dot code ID on it.
The grown junction transistor was  the invention of Morgan Sparksand Gordon Teal at Bell.Labs.   In our  program of  preservation though Geographical Diversity we are  placing some of  our  rare  spare  units  out there.
