    AGE OF TECHNOLOGY AUCTION
Welcome to my auction dedicated to the history of technology. This summer I will be listing some interesting and unique objects from the industrial past. I believe that each object has a history and it is only a matter of time to discover it. Every object is being sold as is. I do not test, restore or repair any objects. I simply enjoy them as they are. Please, take a look at my other listings. There are quite a bit exciting discoveries this year!

WOW! ANTIQUE UNUSUAL UNIQUE ELECTRIC MOTOR, BOSTON! DYNAMO ENGINE, PATENT MODEL?
    "
Up for sale is an interesting and unusual one-of-a-kind the late 1800s, early 1900s electric motor, also called the electric engine, or a dynamo machine discovered in Boston, USA. It appears to me that it is a handmade example that is either a patent model or a prototype. It fits the dimensions for the patent model and I think the idea of the inventor is to manufacture an electric motor where instead of a solid magnet are the joined strips of metal. This motor is made of brass, probably copper, wood, and metal. I think the paint is still original. It shows some wear, scratches, some stains, and one piece of wood between the joined strips has traces of glue and is loose. It is likely that the wood shrunk a bit within time and the piece of wood got loose. I can also see traces of glue. Probably the previous owner decided to glue the loose piece. I can rotate the rotor. This motor might be still in working condition but because I never try any of the objects from the collection, I am selling it as is. He is quite a heavy monster weighing about 18 lbs. The wooden base is measured about 6 3/4" by 11 1/2". The total width of the motor with protruding strips is about 11". I strongly believe that this motor could be a patent model that is just missing a tag. Not every model was signed by the inventor and many tags got lost during the fire in the Patent Office and during later transitions. I will be listing other patent models with and without tags. I can send this motor anywhere in the world, but the shipping of is for Canadian and USA customers only. Please ask me first for the rate if you live in a different country
